Daibochi Plastic and Packaging Industry Bhd, a leading flexible packaging solutions provider, recorded a 16 per cent increase to RM6.623 million in pre-tax profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2011, from RM5.709 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company\’s revenue rose 19.6 per cent to RM73.191 million from RM61.2 million previously.

The increase was attributed to both the Group’s packaging and property development segments, it said in a statement.
