• Commenced delivery of F&B flexible packaging in 3Q16
• 3Q16 revenue grows 9.4% yoy to RM94.1 million on increasing export sales

Melaka, Malaysia, 10 November 2016 – Leading flexible packaging manufacturer Daibochi Plastic and Packaging Industry Berhad (Daibochi; 耐慕志; Bloomberg: DPP:MK; Reuters: DPPM.KL) expanded its regional clientele with the commencement of exports to a new customer, a multinational company (MNC) with leading brands in Australia’s food and beverage (F&B) sector.

Daibochi would supply flexible packaging for two product lines, the first of which commenced in the third quarter of 2016 (3Q16). Deliveries for the second product line are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Mr. Thomas Lim (林树坤), Managing Director of Daibochi Plastic and Packaging Industry Berhad said:

“The Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market is certainly an important space for us, making up approximately 30% of Daibochi’s total exports at present.

Winning this new manufacturing contract would not only enlarge our export revenue, but more crucially, increase our opportunities to gain greater market share, both through this MNC as well as similar industry players. This would greatly reinforce our reputation as a flexible packaging manufacturer of choice that is regionally-approved.”
